These archives are the digests from
the Self-Reliant Living and Homesteading mail list.
Each digest has been converted into a ASCII .txt format.
There are currently three archive files, zipped with WinZip 7.
They will take a good while to download, but they are worth it!
To get them to your computer, click on the archive name you want,
and when your browser asks you where you want to save it,
browse to a location on your hard drive, and start downloading!

Altavista makes a good indexing and search utility and is available at 
http://www.altavista.com/discovery/  
This utility will index  the contents of your harddrive and allow for instant text searches,
   just like the Altavista web search.

MANY thanks to Mr. Orrin Converse, the original creator of
the CSRL List, for all of his hard work in making these archives available.
He has plans for possibly putting all of the archives on CD-ROM. We'll let you know!
